Indoctrination of Human Sorrow Lyrics

Silent winds carry my cries in the dark night
Black horizons lurks beyond mist and shadow
Sorrow and despair slowly spread its demise
Nothing is certain but painful death

As night closes in, suffering will follow
Surrounded by whispering mist and shadows
Grasping for a meaning of this excruciating life
Life is nothing but a tool of inner torment

Silent winds carry my cries in the dark night
Black horizons lurks beyond mist and shadow

As dark as the night so is my mind
My withering soul slithers within

Now it's time to die

This is a very deep song, from my perspective. When I read it outloud as a poem, I almost got chills by the words. The part that struck me the most was:

"Grasping for a meaning of this excruciating life Life is nothing but a tool of inner torment"

I feel that people try way too hard to make life have a meaning. I agree with these 2 lines here..about life being a tool of inner torment. It's just the way I've seen it. Also, these 2 lines speak to me as well:

"As dark as the night so is my mind My withering soul slithers within"

I can't really explain what this song means. It's so deep that words can't describe it. This song is beautiful to me and is definitely one of my favorites.
