Learning to Stand Lyrics
When I think of our time
I see unfinished lines
But I don't trust my eyes or my heart anymore
then you find yourself along
Broken bottles, broken homes
We're moments from bliss or catastrophe
I know this is not some momentary thing
I'm not going back
Believe it
This is the sound of two feet
Learning to stand on their own
Then another year goes by
With another wasted try
I've broken every promise I've made to myself
Then we find ourselves alone
Broken bottles, broken homes
You say everything is possible
Well, I'm not so sure
I see unfinished lines
But I don't trust my eyes or my heart anymore
then you find yourself along
Broken bottles, broken homes
We're moments from bliss or catastrophe
I know this is not some momentary thing
I'm not going back
Believe it
This is the sound of two feet
Learning to stand on their own
Then another year goes by
With another wasted try
I've broken every promise I've made to myself
Then we find ourselves alone
Broken bottles, broken homes
You say everything is possible
Well, I'm not so sure

I love this ong...it's like LC's music get's better and better with every new album. To me, this song just you always given false hope when you young and told that you can do anything, and you end up do doing anything
"We're moments from bliss or catastrophe"
Then you just ruin youerself or the people around you are ruining themselves,
"Broken bottles, broken homes"
But then you find youself and make it along,
"This is the sound of two feet /Learning to stand on their own"
But just not as good as possible,
"But I don't trust my eyes or my heart anymore" "I've broken every promise I've made to myself"
That's just what I think...proabably wrong but...oh well. I still love it. =3
