Freak Out Lyrics
I think we should jump on the piano
No one's looking we could tear his heart out
It's too late to save us now but no matter
We still have time to dance
So let's dance
& freak out
I think we should rip a hole
Right through the center of this house
It's time to tear it down
Our chance to smoke him out
It's too late to save us now but no matter
We still have time to dance
So let's dance
& freak out
It's time to put off all our hesitation
& get up on the floor
'Cause I am gonna laugh ha ha ha hey
When you do that dance
& freak out
Come on freak out
Freak out
No one's looking we could tear his heart out
It's too late to save us now but no matter
We still have time to dance
So let's dance
Right through the center of this house
It's time to tear it down
Our chance to smoke him out
It's too late to save us now but no matter
We still have time to dance
So let's dance
& get up on the floor
'Cause I am gonna laugh ha ha ha hey
When you do that dance
& freak out
Come on freak out

This song incites visions of a savage mob pillaging a dance hall. They don't seem to care about the consequence of the building caving in on them, as long as they get to indulge in their dancing feast. Definitely a maniacal jubilance to it. I have a dancing feast every time it plays...
I love the way Shara's voice fluctuates when she sings, "tear his heart ouuuuuuut!"
The first time she yelled 'Freak out!', it freaked me out, haha.
this song gives me the impression that we need to satisfy one's desires as we please, it's too late to try to fix things; the world is a cruel place and the only way to seperate ourselves from that is by indulging in our music...
