Heard About Your Band Lyrics

I heard about your band
I couldn't help but you were screaming in my ear
Coked up arsehole
Waiting for liars

You shared a cab with Karen O. Oh oh oh oh oh.
You're talking hyper-bollocks
You're talking salaries
Oh yeah, you work in insurance
30k OTE.

You met Electrelane. A-A-A-A-Ay!
You know the girl from Sleater-Kinney
You said you couldn't understand
Why it was that she continued to play
When she was only earning ten grand P.A.

You know a lot of people in the industry
Woo-hoo woo-hoo-hoo
I heard about your band

Whatever dude.

I don't think it's hyper-bollocks, but hyperbolics. Anyway, best tune on the album in my eyes. I think it's about yuppies who don't know anything about music and only worries about money, but likes to pretend he knows everyone in the biz.

it's probably a pun. i heard that this song was about Dominic Masters from The Others

i;ve heard this song is a direct response to art brut's "formed a band". it"s pretty funny if you listen to that song and then this one. but for the record, i think art brut is better.
