Well rather than a crappy post saying how good thing song is I will actually say what I think it means.
Looks to be a bit of a dig at groupies or hangers on in general. Great tempo to it and lyrics are smashing!!
Dunno if there's much more to it. Or if there is any significance about 25?
i think maybe it's about some girl who's only into guys in bands, but then as soon as they're not popular anymore she moves on

'if you're at twenty-five' i think means if you earn £25k. and that, at the time, was probably one of the many figures the government gives for average salary. you're good enough if you're above average.

i dunno how youd get the idea this song is about jesus, i mean everyone is entitled to an opinion, but jesus? well i have to agree with the other posts that its a song generally criticising people, symbolized by the girl in the song, who only go for the hype, and move on from band to band and actually dont enjoy the music for the music but support a band because its cool, or rather because someone else, NME, says theyre cool

its about a girl who's basically only into small bands she doesn't go to big gigs like muse, the killers etc but small banmds that no-ones heard of yet... its like me kind of i listen to lesser known music.
