"The Moon Is Down" is the name of a book, written as a very effective Allied propaganda tool during WWII. The book gets its name from a line in the beginning of the second act of Macbeth.

Or... it takes it from Sappho:

The Moon is down, The Pleiades. Midnight, The hours flow on, I lie, alone.

I'm surprised this song isn't talked about more...

I think it's one of their saddest songs....very "sleepy". But it is extremely beautiful.

an incredibly beautfiul song, also surprised that it isn't talked about more. more surprised that the band 'This Will Destroy You' isn't getting the attention they deserve! check them out! don't really no much about them, but the emotion in their songs is...waaaw!

hypnotic is the best way to describe this song. i feel lost for the entire 10 minutes, it's just so powerful. one of their best.
