Lonely Ones Lyrics
Oh mother you told me
I'm nothing like you
You sat with the loneliness grin
Bottle in hand
As you passed out on the floor
Wanting more from me
Sister your faceless
Your not even there
Ask me if I even care
And father your lonely
To tell you the truth
I don't care to see you again
By the time that I'm gone
You'll know I've become
The last thing you want me to be
Now how can I live?
How can I die?
Why do I feel this all the time?
Every word I say is true
I just wanna forget you
I won't be the lonely ones
Something inside me
Was begging for you
To take me as I am
But the torture was more than
A moment with you
The pressure was more than I could take
And father you told me
That I'm just like you
But all of those feelings have died
And now that I'm gone
You know what you've done
You've turned me into your disease
Now how can I live?
How can I die?
Why do I feel this all the time?
Every word I say is true
I just wanna forget you
I won't be the lonely ones
How can I live?
How can I die?
Why do I feel this all the time?
Every word I say is true
I just wanna forget you
I won't be the lonely ones
And every single day
I'm sewing up my heart
Why does it still hurt me?
Look me in the eyes
Tell me to my face
That I was never worth it
Love has been deep inside
But I try to hide
How can I live?
How can I die?
Why do I feel this all the time?
Every word I say is true
I just wanna forget you
I won't be the lonely ones
How can I live?
How can I die?
Why do I feel this all the time?
Every word I say is true
I just wanna forget you
I won't be the lonely ones
Do you see what you've done? [x3]

Best Rise Electric song right here. This song is obviouslky just about a disfunctional family, and how he feels so lonely cus his family is never there, and just wants to forget them and be nothing like them.
Alright, so this song is a personal reflection of the upbring ing and family life of their former lead singer, Lukas Rossi. (Rossi's now lead singer for Rockstar Supernova). Lukas was separated from his mother and held a rocky relationship with his father throughout his early life. As an early teen, he left his family drama to go live on the streets, where he began pursuing a musical career, heading bands such as this one, and Cleavage. Lonely Ones is a fairly literal song, there isn't much reading between the lines to do, it's simply his story of his messed up childhood.
I love this song. It's so well written and beautiful... absolutely amazing. Lukas rocks. :)
I love this song. The music, the words, the emotion. Perfect. I wish Lukas Rossi would still make songs in this style.
