She held my hand today; she said she thought it was cute
But it’s safe to say her gaze can make me a mute
The path we both head down is one that's way outta line
I try to think but my poor heart beats out of time

Tongue-tied I kissed her at the top of the stairs
Our lips were locked but her eyes begin to open
This won't be the first and only time we will get caught making out

To find a boy who swooned and soon was pressed in his face
