What a haunting song...when she sings, "She couldn't take the chchchchilililil out of her bones."

This song really is haunting...

If I were to guess by the lyrics, I'd say she's singing about her mother forcing her into the spotlight because of her "magic that sings"

Her mother was cruel, and would complain that her voice "never came out of recovery" because as a child she wouldn't focus on singing.

She felt an emptiness, her mother forced her into the world/spotlight "put her outside in the sunshine"

But she like a helpless little rabbit "died in the spotlight"
