Back To The Start Lyrics
Back to the start
Back to the start again I go
Back to the start
Back to the start again
And I don't know why
I feel this way
But I couldn't stay here for
One more day
I go back to the start
Before I loose my mind
Mary got the message
It was Monday morning
Five o'clock
Well, she put it in her pocket, yeah
Calling for the boys
But the boys don't stop
I walk into the bedroom
You could say yes
You could say no
I could take it easy
Because you can take me
Back to the start
Lonely day at the railway station
You go to London
You leave me here to test my patience
I don't know why I feel this way
But I couldn't stay here
For one more day
I go back to the start
Before I loose my mind
Back to the, back to the,
Back to the start
Back to the, back to the,
Back to the s-s-s
I don't know why
I feel this way
But I couldn't stay here for
One more day
But I go back to the start
Before I loose my mind
Back to the, back to the,
Back to the... start
Back to the start again I go
Back to the start
Back to the start again
I feel this way
But I couldn't stay here for
One more day
Before I loose my mind
It was Monday morning
Five o'clock
Well, she put it in her pocket, yeah
Calling for the boys
But the boys don't stop
You could say yes
You could say no
I could take it easy
Because you can take me
Lonely day at the railway station
You go to London
You leave me here to test my patience
But I couldn't stay here
For one more day
Before I loose my mind
Back to the start
Back to the, back to the,
Back to the s-s-s
I feel this way
But I couldn't stay here for
One more day
Before I loose my mind
Back to the... start

Im not too sure about this song Sounds like a single perhaps About him wanting things to generally stop and go back to when he liked it how it was, i duno
This is a great song, the penultimate track on a fantastic second album. I agree with Block Party15 when he says that it's a song about wanting to return to a way things were before, I think it's also about wanting to start again where things may have gone wrong.
I like the part:
I walk into the bedroom, You could say yes, You could say no, I could take it easy
Which is blatantly about the potential of having some fun with someone else but with the cheeky mention that they don't have to participate but either way you're not too fussed
This song is so underrated. So are Funeral Blues and Hostage of Love, and they're my favourite Razorlight tracks
