If anyone could get me the correct lyrics, I'd be very greatful.
As for the question marks, I have no clue what Tj is singing there. I listened to the album verson, and I couldn't understand him, so I decided to listen to the live acoustic verson, and it was even less understandable...so yeah
This song, I have no clue what it's about, but I think it's the same as No Hard Feelings (except for the part that says "her" and "she". Dunno what those are about). And if I'm not mistaken, MY Old Self and No Hard feelings are both on the album Unremarkable.
And if you've ever heard the album version, I TOTALLY recomend listening to an acoustic version, the live acoustic is remarkable.
I think the song is about a couple that broke up quite a while ago. Therefore TJ is thinking about his old self when they were together. Remembering all the things that she did to him. "she's sorry" for what she's done, but TJ "need a reason to hate her" So he is not willing to forgive her so he keeps stressing the points "what you said" "what you did" "all you did"
