this seems to be corey and the others monitering the current state of the world and just going "fuck"... everyone is lying and killing each other and they never step back and think why they are doing it... it could also be about how humans have a) fucked up the world and b) lost their roots.... i dont know if any of those are right but i know this is a brilliant song...

i think its his view point of what God is thinking, you know " 1st person" as in you see their viewpoint. imo
He had to handle problems with alcohol in his past, so I think this could be an influence.
