i can't believe no one has commented on this lyric yet, this has to be one of my favorite's from interpol.
i think this song is basiclly about a couple who broke up and i wanna say because of her. she moved on quickly but he didn't in the begining because he was more into the relationship but he eventually moves on and now she's coming back to him saying she still loves him and what not but he doesn't really feel the same way anymore.
kinda reminds me of my life. hah. :]

This is a different song from C'Mere, Avaliable on the rare fan LP Unknown Pleasure.
A fantastic song, although i personally prefer its maturer brother C'Mere.
I also think C'Mere is a little better than this one, more polished. The new verses seem less hurried and more in place. But this song is really nice too, I think they should've kept the "Love me now I wanna hold you like a dove" verse I really like how it fits with the music.
