This is the guy's of the band representing their Rhode Island pride! OH YEAH! For everyone not from RI, it's the ocean state and we have an anchor on our flag. Beneath it is the word hope. So, Steve said that this song is about how before, he didn't appreciate his home state. And all he wanted to do was move far away and stuff. But, now he's grown to love it and realized everything that it has to offer. "Have faith in your home". Awesome song.
I totally agree with this song. RI has so much to offer. Providence is one of the most beautiful citys and not only that we have so many beaches and great places to go.

BTW i remember listening to you guys way back at west. I had Ryan and Justins mom as my math teacher at western hills lol. Its great to see that you guys are doing so well I just wish that BRU would play your songs more often. Keep up the work looking foward to hearing the new album.
