The first time I heard this song, I thought of old-school Mario. Obviously, they are trying to invoke feelings of when we played old video games with the intro. However, my friend got to see them live, and told me the band said the song was about The Legend of Zelda. With the intro, and the lyrics, this is obvioulsy the best posssible choice for what the song is about, and it makes me love them even more.
to me, this song is about striving for something and dedicating yourself to it. even though you might not be sure about it, you risk it all and hope you did the right thing.
