Right, this album contains a lot of reference to when Richard Archer moved away from Staines for a decent life, feeling that Staines was a dead-end town.

His band, Contempo, failed miserably and when his dad died he moved back to Staines. By his lyrics I THINK he tried to track down his old girlfriend who he never forgot but failed at this.

This song is followed by 'Can't Get Along (Without You)' so it's either about his girlfriend

This is such a sad and moving song. The lyrics and music are simple and so effective. This is why Hard-Fi are one of the best bands at the moment as they can write songs such as this so simply and create such an effective impression on you. The new album is balanced with some great indie upbeat tunes with some sad songs which can make you feel sad .
