I think the lyrics are pretty self-evident. It talks about cliches, and how wisdoms should be born.
This songs got a happy ring to it but what's with the lyrics?

When I first heard this, it was my least favorite song on the album, the intro reminded me of a crappy new local band who are trying to do a solo. & then one day it just clicked. I think the chorus is about just doing what you want & being what you want to be, and making sure that every decision is what you want to do, and making sure it's real.
& the "what the fuck do you know" makes she's thinking to somebody like her parents who are trying to give her advice because they're older than her, but she's doing what she wants, because it's what she wants to do & she's being herself.

(On the previous posts) I agree, this song is kinda straight to the point. The chorus simply screams, "do whatever you want, just be true to yourself!"
But the part "what the fuck do you know" has an angry feel to it - it's like the parents are trying to give her advice, they think they're wiser than her and that she doesn't know a lot of stuff in life coz she's still young. It's an angry way of saying "what? you don't need to tell me what I should do! I already know what you're talking about!"
To me it's about all the advice that people give you when they don't really necesarily know what's best and you didn't even ask for advice. In the end, you just have to live your life (take what you take, etc) as long as it's real.
