i think it means that we're all human. and human things like emotion and suffering teach us that despite petty differences we were all made of the same clay.
I like this song. And I agree, it's just saying that we're all connected and we all break the same and sometimes experience suffering and pain.

This song always reminds me of a quote from A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway.

It is suprising blunt. All of us break the same ways. We think no one knows what we're going through, but crying is something everyone does. It may be deeper than that, I'm not sure. Beautiful intention though.
All of the above, yeah, you're right. This is about how everyone may put up a front that they're strong (everyone's invincible but it's just pretend) but in the end everyone feels down, everyone breaks the same way.
