Summerland

It`s pouring rain outside but still it`s sunny in my room
Lost in myself again
Happy summerland behind a wall built of lies
But the sun`s always there
And I live in denial of the undeniable, pretending I don`t fear the world
Fake confidence and pride somehow do seem to hide a kid who`s to scared to grow up
Alone and insecure, but still amused with my own toys
At least they kill the pain
I`ll lock myself inside my room, pissed off with everyone around
But hoping you`ll know on my door
What`s there left to try when a lie suits you fine? When you see you became all you hated
A world fragilized but I`m still able to smile, and always able to run away
But I`m still living inside here, in my little world where nothing hurts me
Outside here the real world looks just so mean
I`ll believe in my own lies, as long as it anesthesizes me
I`m living inside here and I`m hoping you`ll want to come in here
I keep running away from what I don`t wanna face
I just keep going nowhere, at all
But it`s only life, it`ll also go away
A few more lies might make up for all I screwed up today
