i can't believe no ones commented on this song. it's definitely about the death of a loved one. this song is beautiful. esspecially the ending. wow its just completely breathtaking.
i don't think this song isn't about the death of a loved one. i think he is singing about that absolutely sublime moment of looking into the eyes of the one he loves. when he looks into her pretty eyes, he is orbiting heaven while still on earth. jason himself has said it is about the perfectness of driving around with the one he loves in cali. either way, i lovelovelove it.
i would have to agree with le__queen's interpretation of the lyrics. i think it is just a simple song of him enjoying himself with his loved one driving around in california. but he is completely in love with this person, so it just makes it that much more amazing.
This song makes me think of the girl that i was an idiot for letting go of.....she was absolutly amazing to me...incredible. Her eyes were four dirrernt colors like the of a nebula in space. and we use to drive by the beach all the time....this is just one of those songs thats hard for me to listen to because its hurts.it hits that soft spot.....damn that jason...ya got me damnit dude!
