I think the original mean isabout drugs. Don't die wondering what the expirience is like. Don't think about it, just "Inhale, exhale, pass out, wake up, repeat".

But this can be applies to any experience, just sorta carpe diem.

I think this is saying how monotonous life is [Inhale, Exhale, Pass out...], basically just breathe sleep wake up, and how when something exciting comes along you should grab it [Carpe Diem], expressed as 'so hurry and kiss me', and this is reflected in the lyric, don't die wondering... what could have been.

It sounds like he's on drugs at the beginning, the way his voice is all distorted and wavering. I think drug use is a reasonable meaning here, but I also see it as being about sex.
