ooo i love this song the new album is very good i think the meaning of this song is pretty obvious so I wont point it out...
the meaning seems quite obvious, but is it not ironic?? if you look at the last verse the whole 'just can't give up without a fight' could suggest that he does
Good point, the fact that he repeats 'not i' its kind of like he's saying 'who needs love ey!' in that sort of self denial sort of way, when he really knows that we all need love, and really he'd quite like it too

I loove this song,as above,the meaning is obvious but I really like "But I just can't give up without a fight not I" It makes me cheer up and feel depressed at the same time.
