this song reminds me of how my friend Steven feels. He's my best friend, and i rarely tell him anything anymore. and i should.. but i don't. I know i should beable to trust him; and i do. I'd trust him with my life. I guess i just don't trust myself? eer, wtfever. -.- i still love him to pieces. :O
I think it's about a guy who's trying to get this girl to tell him something. something as in a secret.....gasp i so smart! haha ok so he's telling her that he wants to be "someone you can count on. trust." he's telling her. why not? i've always been for you i've always stood by your side so either she does...and i think she does. but hes all ok. my lips are sealed. i wont tell and how things will get better. things will change. in a good way. because he's saying the silence will soon fade away.. i love this song

i must say that i dont agree with you two guys up there about the song, you might have just figured it out because of the video, but actually video has nothing to do with the song, i was reading and found out tht greeley estates was sort of christian band,nd this is one of those christian songs seems like jesus is talking to a giril that needed help and he is saying she can always count on him and that he has always been there as you can see in
the "i've always stood by your side" part.
I have to agree with BuryYourHopes.
I'm not sure if GE are Christian, but this song, to me, is as if God is speaking to anyone who needs to let something off their chest.
In a non-religious point of view, I can see this as someone openly saying the person they're talking to can trust them with anything, the rest of the world doesn't have to know.
