Remember Lyrics

have we lost sight of where we are
forgetting why it was we started this
we never meant to leave behind those days
so here we are

have we lost sight of where we are
forgetting why it was we started this
we never meant to leave behind those days
so here we are

and now we've come so far

what do we have to show for it
remember when we started this and what it meant to us
and now it seems the lines are blurred
remember when we started this and what it meant

so focused on what lies ahead
forgetting all it took to get us here
can we recover everything we lost
so here we are

and now we’ve come so far

what do we have to show for it
remember when we started this and what it meant to us
and now it seems the lines are blurred
remember when we started this and what it meant

are we just trying to find some meaning
we’ve lost sight of what matters most

where do we go
where do we go from here
where do we go from here

have we lost sight of where we are
forgetting why it was we started this

what do we have to show for it
remember when we started this and what it meant to us
and now it seems the lines are blurred
remember when we started this and what it meant

are we just trying to find some meaning
we lost sight of what matter most
are we just trying to find some meaning

I think this one's about a couple who have lost their spark so to speak They were in love at first, but they were focused on the wrong things, and now they don't know why they're together. They lost sight of love, what matters most. I love Ryan's lyrics :)

Or, I thought about it more, and it could also be about Christian faith that has kind of fallen through. Either way, it's a great song.
