Busted's original version has a more mature sound to it..And I find it superior to the JB cover-Though this version isn't all that bad...BUT- why take other people's songs -Change a few words-And release it to gain fame and money....Write your own shit.
Whoever thinks busteds verion is "perverted" are utter PRUDES. I mean the only lyrics that the Jonas brothers changed were mainly the bit about the tripple breasted women swimming around town naked... err thats not bad at all... and the changes the jonas brothers made are so unsubtle, you can totally tell when they sing which lyrics sound totally out of place. Also what is WRONG with saying your great great great granddaughter is "pretty fine"? yeah sure it might be a bit pedo to say that but this song isnt supposed to be serious really is it? and saying who wrote the song must have a "sick twisted mind" o dear... how old are you? like 10? that the normal age for jonas brothers fans right? cause I mean they can't even mention PG 13 stuff in their songs. Its making me laugh at all the people who have described Busted as perverts. Just cause they sing about naked women with three boobs. There are so many more song that are more 'perverted'. Busted were like 20 when they relesed this so I think there mature enough to sing about naked women... its only one line. And I feel its kinda an odd line they replaced it with...
Also, why replace Michael Jackson for Kelly Clarkson? Is it because the Jonas brothers are trying to keep it real (what with living underwater in about 990 year) and not aim too high or because Disney doesn't feel that children now won't know who MJ is? I highly doubt that they would know what a flux capacitor is or even the Back To The Future films referenced in this song.
In conclusion, this is just another example of a cover that hasn't worked and the original is still better. I only found out today that the Jonas Brothers had cover it.
