She Likes It Lyrics
Cover Girl stood in the front row
Pink hair for the go go show
Metal head don't be so so
Full of it at the go go
Don't tell him you like it
Ooh she likes it
Don't don't tell him you like it
Ooh she likes it
Pretty girl punk by the front door
Unaware of the go go lore
Little bit don't be so sore
Get a grip you're at the go go
Don't tell him you like it
Ooh she likes it
Don't don't tell him you like it
Ooh she likes it
'Cause he don't know ooh
If she gogo's when she goes home
Ooh she likes it
Ooh she likes it
Ooh she likes it
Pink hair for the go go show
Metal head don't be so so
Full of it at the go go
Ooh she likes it
Don't don't tell him you like it
Ooh she likes it
Unaware of the go go lore
Little bit don't be so sore
Get a grip you're at the go go
Ooh she likes it
Don't don't tell him you like it
Ooh she likes it
'Cause he don't know ooh
If she gogo's when she goes home
Ooh she likes it
Ooh she likes it

I could be completely wrong in my interpretation of this song and I'd be interested to hear other people's. But based on the tone of this song and the lyrics, I inferred that this song was about a girl who is a lesbian or might be one. The lines "Don't tell him you like it" and "'Cause he don't know if she gogo's when she goes home" seem kind of ominous! That's just what I think though.
Given the style of music Dressy Bessy plays, could the Go Go show be a ref to the band The Go-Gos? The girl is a punk, much like the Go-Gos were before going pop.
Also, the "Little Bit don't be so sore" is funny to people familiar with Paula Vogel's play "How I Learned To Drive."
