I LUV this song, best song on VampireFreaks.com I like Andy's other band Panzer Ag better I think...

what does it say at the beginning? in the live shows I've seen on you tube Andy says something along the lines of "with each day we will spill their blood till it drips down from the sky" that part has confused me for a while now. Also I think he says laughed instead of loved, it's just his accent that makes it sound weird I think...anyway, awesome song

The opening line, and a few other breaks in this song is clips from the movie "The boondock saints"... , and not andy singing. its a cool movie, too.. check it out :-)

i also herd in the beginning "va fan culo" (however you spell it)whic h in italian means go to hell.

The lines at the beginning are taken from the Courtroom scene in The Boondock Saints, and are the family prayer:

"And Shepherds we shall be For Thee, my Lord, for Thee Power hath descended forth from Thy hand So our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands We shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be E nomine patris, et fili, et spirictus sancti."

And, later in the song is a clip from earlier in the same scene, "Each day, we will spill their blood, til it rains down from the sky."

As for meaning, it makes me think of someone who woke up after going on a killing rampage or something, covered in blood. It doesn't seem hard to read in to, til you try.

This song talks about Columbine massacre.

xxxxxxxx I'm not 100% if he says "loved" or "laughed"; His 'chorus' of blood sounds like it could be "a rain of blood" except you can hear him say "THE rain of blood" fairly clearly the second time he repeats the line. Also, the track IS titled "...THE Rain of Blood" so I think it's safe to assume it is "the" and not "a".

All this gleaned by listening to the album version of the song, hope this helps.

Sounds move like "laughed" than "loved" to me, and it makes more sense since this song seems to be about a psychotic killer.
