For me, is just like feeling lost and lonely, and someway find out that there is some place where you belong. Great song.
As far as break up songs go, this one is definitely the best. I love how the verses are so accurate to how you feel when you've lost someone very dear to you. And one of my favorite lyrics of all time is; "it looks like red, but it feels like gray." This is an incredible song; It got through a very rough time in my life.
