Lay Your Hands on Me Lyrics

Hold me as long, as you can stand it
Hold me as long, because I need it
Hold me as long, until we make it
Take your time, take your time

Hold me as long until you're, until you're better
Hold me as long, I'll be your nature
Yeah, hold me as long, we'll come together
Don't be shy

I'm inviting you, I'm inviting you
Lay your hands on me
Run as fast as you can, run as fast as you can
So lay your hands on me

Hold me as long, my body's shaking
Hold me as long, I'm anticipating
And hold me as long, your woman's waiting
Yeah, don't be shy

I'm inviting you, I'm inviting you
So lay your hands on me
Run as fast as you can, run as fast as you can
Just lay your hands on me

Hold me as long, your all I've ever wanted
Yeah, hold me as long (long, long, long…)

I'm inviting you, I'm inviting you
So lay your hands on me
Run as fast as you can, run as fast as you can
Just lay your hands on me - just lay

Yeah, lay your hands on me
Just lay your hands on me - just lay
Just lay your hands on me

And don’t be shy

Love this song (like most songs of her :p ), but I'm not really sure 'bout the meaning.

It seems that it's about a married man which she has an affair with, and she's just longing so very hard for his loving and touching. (or does the sentence "hold me as long, your womans's waiting, not refer to his legal woman, but wants to say that she herself is his woman who is waiting ?)

When I personally listed to this, it feels like she is very lonely and misses a lot of fysical, human contact, which she is craving for, because now she is in love with a man. But also afraid of it, of being intimite again after a long time ("hold me as long my body's shaking"), so she asks him to hold her and not be shy, because, she herself might be shy
