Release Me On The Floor Lyrics

I'm alive again and I'll begin to know you
Feeling dirty, no remorse, no, I'll show you
You guide the ones you care for
Claim the parts that you swore

Watch the showers turn to snow beyond the craters
Slowly fancied by the power of your favours
All your foreign boundaries
Slips away through countries

Have you seen the cold wind blow
In a temper that you like
Have you lost it all day long
To the silence of the tide
You wonder where it all began, I wonder where you are
Blind me by my own disguise, release me on the floor
For one day more

Moving faster on your toes, the evening fades out
You stayed inside forever and you never came out
First of all I owe you
For what I never told you

Have you seen the cold wind blow
In a temper that you like
Have you lost it all day long
To the silence of the tide
You wonder where it all began, I wonder where you are
Blind me by my own disguise, release me on the floor
For one day more

Have you seen the cold wind blow
In a temper that you like
Have you lost it all day long
To the silence of the tide
You wonder where it all began, I wonder where you are
Blind me by my own disguise, release me on the floor

They're harmonies top Alice in Chains by days.

Stephen Deadless, Modest Mouse and their ilk are just as two-dimensional and full of themselves as you probably are.

The Figurines actually represent the most humble and honest music that I've heard in a long ass time and they fricken rule especially when compared to all the indie cookie cutter bands like Modest Mouse. OK, I'm done hypocritically ranting about my opinions. I just really hate comments like that.

This song speaks to the beyond in such an epic way. It seems to be about getting to that point where you're lost and you need to keep going (release me on the floor for one day more) each day as you reach for new meaning. This whole album sort of has that sweet melancholy of hearbreak written underneath a lot of it but manages to be very positive and hopeful at the same time. This song is like an ode to the wonderment of striving for the unknown.

Danish Modest Mouse knockoff. The worst part is that Modest Mouse isn’t that great either.
