sounds like a song about him giving up drinking

Sounds to me like a taunt, directed at someone he sees as trying to drag him down, and he's telling them:

the only way you'll take me down is if I let you, and "I refuse to die"

By the way, this is probably one of my favorites on the album.

it could mean that he refuses to let someone/something destroy him

i think this is about him warning someone to stay away, and if that person screws with his life, he will screw around with their life, and nothing will stop him

as already said it pretty much speaks for its self the song that is...telling people or a certain someone not to fuck with him or he will give them hell and no one will be able to get in his way and stop him

This is obviously an anti-christian song.

And then the chorus... it's all about protest against preachers and the fact that christianity dictates its rules pretty much everywhere.

The song roxx... a similar one is "Hypocrites" by KoRn

i love this song, its obviously about giving up an addiction the line "i've done this to myself" and "It's too late to stop me because i refuse to die' both make that obvious. I like these lyrics though, showing that others disapprove but he refuses to give it up.
