Homegrown Lyrics
Homegrown's all right with me.
Homegrown is the way it should be.
Homegrown is a good thing.
Plant that bell and let it ring.
The sun comes up in the morning,
Shines that light around.
One day, without no warning,
Things start jumping up from the ground.
Well, homegrown's all right with me.
Homegrown is the way it should be.
Homegrown is a good thing.
Plant that bell and let it ring.
Homegrown is the way it should be.
Homegrown is a good thing.
Plant that bell and let it ring.
Shines that light around.
One day, without no warning,
Things start jumping up from the ground.
Homegrown is the way it should be.
Homegrown is a good thing.
Plant that bell and let it ring.

My sister sells vegetables at this farmer's market in town, and I asked if I could busk on the corner while I helping her out, cause they're always trying to draw people in. Anyway, I thought about playing this song, (slightly modified) to see who would get it, but I haven't yet.
I suspect that Mr Young's homegrown reference is not to fruit and vegetables but to marijuana.
This song is the ultimate garage/country rocker with so much style... genius.
