yea...all there songs i love at least anyways to me this song is just about society today and how we kill andknow not peace and all that stuff its really relevent to the iraq war going on right now as i type this..to me i just think it could have many meanings to do with war and violence but its made pretty clear with the lyrics

Sounds to me like the Crusades. Mainly because of the "still we fight we march to war never knowing when well fall fueled by a call to cleanse a call from our god to spill your blood " part. The crusades were pretty much long and bloody.
