This Is an Introduction

This is probably one of the most substantial of his songs. I wonder if it's actually autobiographical. If so, sad stuff. Anyhow, he's basically just saying that he'd like the opportunity to open up to somebody, to people in general. Near the end of the song he mentions how he keeps himself at a distance, and perhaps that's the reason his relationships, namely those with his family, are just broken.

this song is absolutely beautiful. sometimes, when i listen to it i start to feel so sad & suffocated that i have to remindm yself to take deep breaths.
