wow, no1's tried to have a shot at this? ok. I think the glass in your mouth line is refering to whoever hes singing to being quite harsh/sour with their words. It kinda reminds me of sum1 having an argument and the next day u both just forgive and forget and go on, but there's probly gunna b anuva fite. "we'll start it again, so we can start it over, the sun will set tonight".

It’s a midnight swim, where it is late and the air is all clear. --- everything is going well, there is a couple and they are in a lake or whatever- its just a metaphor but basically the relationship is going well

And I remember that evening, you on the floor, I was attached to the ceiling. --- somewhere inbetween they get into an argument, and they each take opposite sides (floor and celing)

The sun will set tonight on all the lonely dreamers, only to rise again so we can start it over. --- while people are dreaming of love and waiting for the perfect someone, the love in this case is not perfect at all, and the switching between love and argument will never end. arguments are impossible to omit, but there is still love between them

We’ll start it again so we can start it over. The sun will set tonight ---he wants it to start over, when everything was happy. all he has to do is be a "lonely dreamer" and go back to sleep i think this is all in his head because in reality, this would not happen. arguements, then make-up time after time. it is his wish that this would all work out, but it is not reality.

I think its about a relationship as well. But more so the monotony of the relationship he is in. "The sun will set tonight on all the lonely dreamers, only to rise again so we can start it over." To me he is going insane. He keeps trying only to keep failing.
