One Father, Another Lyrics
tend your figure religiously
stillborn sisters- you buried three
survived by stumbling divinity
it came to you both accidentally
haunted wombs and barren seeds
yet through the term you carried me
conjugally conceived he had prayed you'd bleed
and your second child came with a pair of teeth
and round his ankles you were tethered me
you must have known hed leave eventually
because everything you love leaves
(everything you love leaves)
stillborn sisters- you buried three
survived by stumbling divinity
it came to you both accidentally
yet through the term you carried me
conjugally conceived he had prayed you'd bleed
and your second child came with a pair of teeth
you must have known hed leave eventually
because everything you love leaves
(everything you love leaves)

This song's lyrics are so devastating when placed before The Weight She Fell Under. I'm pretty positive this is a concept album about a family, based on the roles of the mother and the daughter. At this point the father leaves the mother (the two characters in Love Connection pt. II). After all the miscarriages and hardships of bearing a child with this man he leaves her. And then the daughter falls under a train (accident??).
But there are some details that may not hold true to the story as the album as a whole goes, that is, I'm not sure.
