This song is so beautiful... it really means a lot to me cause I had a relationship that started off red hot, and went down in flames. Good stuff.

Just a small thing, instead of "going" he says gotta, but whatever.
Also, pretty easy to get, however I think these lyrics are really visual, he describes everything so you can really see whats happening. Not only that but it is pretty optimistic.

After 3 years, I was slightly worried, but the new CD is great from top to bottom. This is one of the best songs on it.

It strikes a chord in me because it's true-- I wish I could remember things the way they began. Be it relationships with people, or life in general. Greatness fades away, and by the end you often forget why it was so great in the first place--You wish you could remember.
Side note: When Chris says "in a halo of ember", I actually thought he was saying "and I hate love", which I commended him for doing! Some feelings of old Dashboard desperation, but alas my ears deceived me. Rats.
