I think this is about two friends or somethiing who used ot be really close but then one friend chanegd a lot and the other one feels really betrayed but also kind of wants to help or wishes they could go back to how it used to be. i think the one that changed is lying all the time now and became completely fake and no one really knows what they feel anymore, when before they used to tell each other everything.

i think that part's like they're almost expecting this friend to be fake and lie and they almost expect them to fail and they're getting relly frustrated that the friend won't just snap out of it.

"I'm sure I used to hold your hand did I hurt you? all this attitude with no history all this anger when you're attacking me"

Maybe they think that their friend changed because of something they did and now they feel bad because they think they could have prevented all of this. And now they're fighting all the time and there's no real reason for it, so they think they might have hurt their friend somehow to change them so much and make them so angry.

I could be way off with this but I think most of this because it all really relates to something me and my friend are going through right now... Anyways, great song. Cheers!

i really like this song, but it's "but i will stay the same" i think it's about people who are afraid of being themselves, but i don't really know... i would like to hear some other opinions on this one^^

i get the impression from this song that they are singing about someone whos changed alot. They look and act fake, and lie just to fit in. "maybe someday you will grow maybe someday you will know maybe someday you will end these fears and go"

• i think that they are saying that someday the person will grow up, finally know who they really are, get rid of their fears of not fitting in and go and live their life.
