A Town Called Hypocrisy Lyrics
can you take this broken boy
and put the pieces back as one?
though he has all of his toys
he is never having fun
because it's not enough
now we're growing up
we are giving up
we are moving on
because it's not enough
we were growing up
we ain't giving up
and I won't hear what you say so
save your sympathy
who'd you think you're fooling
everything is dead
now you welcome me to a town called hypocrisy
save your sympathy
who'd you think you're fooling
everything is dead
now you welcome me to a town called hypocrisy
can you take this lonely girl
and pick her up from off the ground?
cause there's no pride to be found
when you follow sheep around
and no future here, no future for us in this town
because it's not enough
now we're growing up
we are giving up
we are moving on
because it's not enough
we were growing up
we ain't giving up
and I won't hear what you say so
save your sympathy
who'd you think you're fooling
everything is dead
now you welcome me to a town called hypocrisy
save your sympathy
who'd you think you're fooling
everything is dead
now you welcome me to a town called hypocrisy
la la la lalalala
because it's not enough
now we're growing up
we are giving up
we are moving on
because it's not enough
we were growing up
we ain't giving up
and I won't hear what you say so

After seeing the music video, I can safely say that I know what this song is about:
It's about Ian Watkins' molesting children and raping babies while loving every minute of it.
@lastanzabianca Shocking, isn't it, after seeing it in hindsight? I'm surprised the papers didn't pick up on that video when they were reporting it.

Upside, inside out she's livin la vida loca!!
Lostprophets are back, and catchy as ever.
This is a typical leaving home song, moving away from the place you are known for, but LP simply do it best.
His town or neighbourhood is torn up and a new future is headed in another town..
lalallalalalla la la, i love the background vocals ^^
I was at a lostprophets gig and they said what they wrote it for, they said its about not letting anybody else tell you how to live your life!
lostprophets are so darn catchy in their new album!
The only line I really thought about was "save your sympathy who'd you think you're fooling everything is dead" And I thought it was something like someone was pretending to sympathise with this person but they just thought it was stupid because they didn't even care anymore. so they wonder why they would bother and who they think they're fooling by saying they sympatise or whatever. I dont know. Anyhoo, AMAZING song. Ace! x
Think this song is one of the best on the album - can't believe no one had added it yet!
I would say its about a relationship where the girl cheated/lied and so they split up but the girl wants to pretend like it never happened. He feels like he's been living in a world of hypocrisy (falseness) because of her lying.
Think the video is pretty cool too - possibly a 'blue peter' style link there where they portray the world as innocent when it really isn't (like when Matt Baker (think that was his name) was fired for taking drugs)??
Well, On Kerrang they said this song was aboit bigotry (sp?)
This is such a good song! the video is well funny. And that was someone bacon the blue peter presenter who got fired for taking cocaine. I think. Anyways I love the lyrics to this.
