I just heard this song for the first time yesterday and I liked it a lot. I'm not sure that I got every lyric correct, but I think that I get the main idea - and I hope that the meaning doesn't apply to me and a person I like.

In my opinion, this is a stand-out tune in Tom Petty's vast library. I love his music in general but this one is a real gem. Though it's been around for many years, I just heard this for the first time on Sirius XM Tom Petty Radio channel 31 a couple days ago. While I was very excited to hear "new to me" Tom Petty music, it made me sad to know we'll never hear any more new music from him. RIP, Mr. Petty...you are sorely missed.
