I really have high hopes for this scoring highly in the charts as Is It Any Wonder did! sooooooooo catchy, then again i wanted Can't Stop Now to be a single! Quite simply it is about a person who has lost the one they love, they still obvisously crave them, but they have to get on with their lives, and Put it Behind them!

Somewhere I read that this was written by a band member for another member who had lost his girlfriend and just couldn't get over it. The song encourages me to put it all behind myself too...
Yeah I heard the whole album includes songs written for one of Keane about his situation with his girlfriend. Don't know which, just can't recall.
LOVE THIS SONG. My interpretation is that this guy's singing either for himself or a friend, and he wants to get over a girl. Very good song.

This song puts a positive spin on getting over a messy break up. It’s basically saying, “yeah, that whole situation sucked. But now, you got to move on.” Which in life, is necessary to do.
