Fresh New Eyes Lyrics

There's a plastic man in a sports car
And he knows that he knows it all
His plastic features are smiling
As he scrapes them against a wall
There's a cover girl on a stake-out
As a worm on a hook she's bait
In the trunk of a plymouth in Memphis
She thinks she's made a mistake

Go on and give me some fresh new eyes
Dress my tongue in a new disguise
Go on and give me a sexy mouth to taste it

There's a sandman on the embankment
And his face has washed away
He's a prisoner by design
He thinks he's made a mistake

Go on and give me some fresh new eyes
Dress my tongue in a new disguise
Go on and give me a sexy mouth to taste it

To taste it

It's a song about The Corinthian. He was a serial killer from the comic book Sandman. He ate peoples eyes and drove a sports car. He didn't have eyes per say, he had little mouths where his eyes should of been.

Great opening track to the last EP.

GOP, I think you might be right. The car does look like a plymouth, and Morpheus does say he made a mistake making the Corinthian.
