In Like With You Lyrics

She keeps looking at me
With those eyes
Searching for answers
I can't supply

She keeps thinking of me
As her man
But you know, that is a concept
That I really can't understand

True baby, true
I'm in like with you
But don't ask me if I love you
Cause I wouldnt want to lie to you

Theres a hidden kiss
In the lady's smile
A lifetime promise
In my baby's eyes

I keep catching her look
Across a crowded room
And though I try not to hear it
I'm still dancing to her tune

True baby, true
I'm in like with you
But don't ask me if I love you
Cause I wouldn't want to lie to you

Please baby, please
Look, I'm on my knees
Don't ask me
You know the answer better than I do...

I can't love you
In the way you want me to
My heart and mind
Collide
Inside

True baby, true
I'm in like with you
But don't ask me if I love you
Cause I wouldnt want to lie to you

Please baby, please
Look, I'm on my knees
Don't ask me
You know the answer better than I do...

She keeps looking at me
She keeps looking at me
She keeps looking at me
She keeps looking at me

I adore this song. I think the concept is pretty straightforward, not wanting to commit to a relationship, being happy with just being 'in like' but finding it hard when asked to be 'in love' with the girl in question, who keeps looking at him, expecting more.
