Phages Lyrics
Let’s start this song with a stroll around
Late and cold we wander; smell of sale and cumber walks.
The faster we go the quicker we’ll end, with lack of homegrowns in the gardens we tend.
Tada to townlight fire.
Forks in the road we’re not.
A rush of spring makes diamond rings
Of grass blades some and everything.
Beige-backed jumpers scared from those crooked stares, proved wrong
On public roads named by our attic air.
Tada to townlight fire
Forks in the road we’re not, spoons more so we’re caught.
This town is dead from too much living, let’s make our ending from new beginnings.
Let’s raise a barn from strongest of cedar and leave it all to forces of nature.
Late and cold we wander; smell of sale and cumber walks.
The faster we go the quicker we’ll end, with lack of homegrowns in the gardens we tend.
Forks in the road we’re not.
Of grass blades some and everything.
Beige-backed jumpers scared from those crooked stares, proved wrong
On public roads named by our attic air.
Forks in the road we’re not, spoons more so we’re caught.
Let’s raise a barn from strongest of cedar and leave it all to forces of nature.

I don't understand how anybody couldn't be completely infatuated with the Phages EP.
i completely agree
i completely agree
The Most Serene Republic is one to the most talented, young bands that indie music has to offer.
hey getborn182, i definitely would have to agree with you. but i still really like the stuff they did as thee oneironauts. it has this swimplicity and intuitiveness to it, even back then. as much as i love underwater cinematographer, there are these really indulgent parts on in, like when they all sing in unison at the end of 'cedar nouns'. hate hate hate that, even though i love the song.
