i think this song is about a mutual break up. but im not positive. great song though.
i see this as being a love/hate relationship. he thinks she's "great" but at the same time they are "playing all these games and I wonder who's to blame it." it seems like he's asking himself if he should still be with this person although they don't get along. (the whole "positive and negative" thing) like he likes her physically (the whole working each other) but their relatonship is this whole "well i like you sometimes..." i'm alluding to the title of the song.
