Path to Vanir Lyrics

Awaiting my death
Gasping for air
The relief emerge
The mistress so fair

Don't abandon me
Please grant me life
I, I embrace your powers
Higher wisdom's wife

I've been fighting in vain
But they grew too strong
For my kinsmen this day
Became far too long

I, I lie in the open
Waiting to die
Were all my life's beauty
Built on a lie?

My grace you shall get
Because I welcome your return
(If) you're not the hidden
Into sadness I will turn

I've come to your rescue now
Before your last breath
My love you will receive
But it will be your death

Fear not, said the mistress
The lady of light
Those who betrayed us
Will not stand the fright

It seems That someone is fighting against all odd's and fates setting them free.

Great song, even better lyrics. The clean middle section seems to be the words that the "mistress of light" is speaking unto the main character as she is comforting him. However, he is not resurrected, she is merely telling him that she will exact vengeance upon those who have hurt him.

"My love you will receive But it will be your death

Fear not, said the mistress The lady of light Those who betrayed us Will not stand the fright"

yea i agreee with Ddad.

i love the slow part of this song:

My grace you shall get Because I welcome your return (If) you're not the hidden Into sadness I will turn

I've come to your rescue now Before your last breath My love you will receive But it will be your death

its what makes this song 2x more awesome than what it already is!
