Seven Lyrics
Your new haircut is so unfamiliar
But they only know you that way
Your new teases are so hilarious
Well I never thought I'd hear you say
That I did the driving and the falling on knives
Seemed anything was worth a try
You never said it but I think I get it
And maybe you were right
That I miss you Seven
I miss you Seven
Did you see me the way I imagined
Every eyelash a picket or a wire
Did you tease me when I went out of fashion
And your interest in me had expired
Well I stopped
But how can I really stop
And stay stopped?
I miss you Seven
(The distance helps me only so much)
Is it asking too much
Would you say that I
Am the last thing you want
To remember me by
I miss you Seven
(The distance helps me only so much)
But they only know you that way
Your new teases are so hilarious
Well I never thought I'd hear you say
Seemed anything was worth a try
You never said it but I think I get it
And maybe you were right
I miss you Seven
Every eyelash a picket or a wire
Did you tease me when I went out of fashion
And your interest in me had expired
But how can I really stop
And stay stopped?
(The distance helps me only so much)
Would you say that I
Am the last thing you want
To remember me by
(The distance helps me only so much)

This song means a lot to me.
This is what i get from it, i could be wrong but its art and art can be interpreted a million different ways.
Two people in a relationship, that is falling or fell apart. And both said that they wouldnt care that it was over, and that they werent attached. But then one day you realize that you were and still are attached.
Thus "you never said it but I think I get it and maybe you were right
that I miss you Seven I miss you Seven"
"well I stopped but how can I really stop and stay stopped?" Thats my favorite part.
They're also a little bit confused because the other person said it was their fault it ended. Hence... "well I never thought I'd hear you say
that I did the driving and the falling knives"
This is probably one of my favorite TLW songs, though I love them all.
The fifth line is actually- 'That I did the driving and the falling ON knives' It makes a bit more sense.
This used to be my least favourite Long Winters song, but I seriously love it now. I don't know how I could have hated it.
It's not actually about a girl called Seven, is it? Seinfeld reference?
I always imagined it was about someone talking to his seven year odl self.
