I think that this song is about the "weight of the world", the struggles of life, getting to be too much to bear. The song is just kind of about trying to make compromises, to plead with the world, just to find your own place (physically , mentally, and spiritually).

I will add that it's a ballad of frustration. In this society it takes SOOOO much, just to achive what is God given and so basic for all to have:

this is such a good song! its about how much you have on your plate in life. you have so much to do and you just want to rest your head. i love when hes like "you need a raise? you havent slept in how many days?" i see that as a person working so hard and not getting a lot of money. its about sometimes just having to take a break and forget for awhile.
