In The Morning Lyrics
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong
Maybe I’ve been here too long
The songs on the radio sound the same
Everybody just looks the same
But then last night was so much fun
And now your sheets are dirty
The streets are dirty too but
You never look back on what you’re gonna do
Remember when you were young
You’d lose yourself
In the morning, you know you won’t remember a thing
In the morning, you know it’s gonna be alright
I wake him up when I’m up
When I’m on the stage, well
A boy can’t help it, it’s not his fault
Just a dangerous dangerous thing
But then every night’s still so much fun
And you’re still out at dawn
I’m clinging on to the wrong ideas but
I never regret anything I’ve done
Remember when you were young
You’d lose yourself
In the morning you know he won’t remember a thing
In the morning you know it’s gonna be alright
In the morning, you know he won’t remember a thing
In the morning, you know it’s gonna be all. . .
In the morning, you know he won’t remember a thing
In the morning, you know it’s gonna be all…
In the morning, you know he won’t remember a thing
In the morning, you know it’s gonna be alright
Are you really gonna do it this time?
Are you really gonna do it this time?
Are you really gonna do it this time?
Are you really gonna do it this time?
X2
You’ve got got to do it this time
Are you really gonna do it do it do what?
Are you really gonna do it do it do it yeah
Are you really gonna do it what
In the morning you know he won’t remember a thing
No not a thing and
In the morning you know he won’t remember a thing
Maybe I’ve been here too long
The songs on the radio sound the same
Everybody just looks the same

Wow - love this song Cool lyrics as well About drinking? New Album should be good
i think it is a reference to pete doherty,
Lyrics a little inaccurate, but who cares? Awesome song, reference to Pete Doherty makes sense, though it could be about just going out and getting hammered...
i think this song is about having a heavy night out!
In the morning, you know you won’t remember a thing In the morning, you know it’s gonna be alright
as in in the mornign after, you won;t remember a thing cause you were so pissed and so it'l be alright
I'm pretty sure these are the lyrics:
I wonder what I'm doing wrong Maybe I've been here too long The songs on the radio sound the same Everybody just looks the same
And then last nights show was so much fun And now your sheets are dirty The streets are dirty too But I never look back into the sun no
Oh wake him up, warm him up Put him on the stage When he burns his stomach with a cigarette Its just a danger of the age
And then last nights show was so much fun And now your sheets are dirty The streets are dirty too But you never look back over what you've done
Oh wake him up, warm him up Put him on the stage When he burns his stomach with a cigarette But the boy can't act his age
And then last nights show was so much fun And now your sheets are dirty Ohh, your dirty too But you never look back into that sun no
And in the morning You know you won't remember a thing
In the morning You know you won't remember a thing
In the morining You know it's gonna be alright
In the morning You know you won't remember a thing
In the morning You know you won't remember a thing
In the morining You know it's gonna be alright
It's gonna be all.. It's gonna be all.. It's gonna be all.. It's gonna be allright
well im pretty sure my lyrics are more accurate than that...
where on earth did you get the 'burns his stomach with a cigarette' bit, or the 'never look back into the sun' bit?
Have you actually listened to the song
Up The Bracket's lyrics are from the video while clojoe's are from what I think is a demo version. I have both of them so I know ^__~
I always just thought this was about relationships. And how at night you would lose yourself but then during the day it would revert to being a hassle again.
However the Pete Doherty thing makes sense, especially when looking at the 2nd verse.
no offence to those who think this is about pete doherty, but im there are other razorlight songs which people have sed 'this is about pete' when im sure the song could just be interpreted that way, which isn't difficult. This song may well be about him, although i personally think its about drinking, im just saying..
ive heard two differnt versions of this song,a radio edit and one has the lyrics 'burns his stomach with a cigarette' and 'never look back into the sun' bit.
