This just reminds me of how I feel whenever I lose touch with friends or people I'm interested in. It's honest and sad, but really sweet in the way she sings it. I love her voice, haha.
The song is about a relationship that isn't in its giddy stage anymore. It's much different, and the person singing the song knows that it won't last long. He/she thinks of leaving just to "lock the door behind" but can't because they "always thought" their significant other was "the one."
